Kalano was awarded as the 2026 Most Outstanding Indigenous Organisation for the NT!

NTIBN proudly congratulates Kalano Community Association Inc for winning the 2026 Most Outstanding Indigenous Organisation at the NT Local Business Awards for the second consecutive year.

This remarkable achievement recognises the dedication of Kalano’s staff, management teams and Council, who continued delivering vital services and supporting communities throughout an especially challenging year.

Despite the significant impacts of the floods on communities, facilities and services, the Kalano team continued to adapt, show resilience and stand alongside its members and the wider Katherine region.

Congratulations to everyone across the Kalano organisation. This award is a well-deserved recognition of your leadership, strength and ongoing commitment to community.
